Die-cut product coupons are a long-time staple of White Castle’s advertising. These coupons are used during special promotional events and distributed by company managers as a general good will. White Castle Food Product Coupons printed to appear very appetizing.

Printed on bright white c1s cover in four-color process with gloss aqueous, the reverse side is printed and numbered sequentially on a digital press. The offset printing of the food product images are color critical to assure an appealing product image. The accuracy of the die cutting requires careful production planning to create equal white borders around the food images.

White Castle | Castle Cash Coupon Books

Castle cash were a wallet sized eight-page self-cover coupon book series printed by the millions as a promotional bag stuffers. The five versions of coupon books printed, advertised special pricing or limited time offerings of various food products.

After printing each Castle Cash book, I treated the vendor’s employees to a Slider lunch!

The coupon books were printed on a 40" sheet-fed offset press. Color accuracy was critical. After the initial press sheet was approved for color, and additional press sheet check was performed hourly over the 24-hour press run. Finishing also required care. The coupons were perforated and glued in groups of five finally slitting to singles during the folding process.

White Castle | 25 Year Club Program

Annually, White Castle recognizes employees reaching 25 years of continuous service. The week-long celebration concludes with an induction dinner for the newest members of the 25 Year Club. I am privileged to have printed the keepsake program for over 15 years.

An elegant program for a special evening.

The creation of the program involves several processes and details. Inductees provide formal photos requiring color correction and cropping. Every effort is made to print the inductees' images with pleasing results. The program cover is blind embossed using an intricate brass die. The translucent flysheet is printed in spot colors chosen to match the evening's themed decor. The stock for the body of the program is a premium gloss coated text. The weight of the stock allows the use of various combinations of spot varnish, flood aqueous and strike-thru varnish/aqueous techniques.

A fine business card makes a positive first impression

Simple and elegant in design, this card is painstakingly crafted. The stock is double-thick cover for a stiff feel. The corporate ink colors printing 3 over 1 are mostly transparent creating difficulties with color consistency on press. The card is die cut to create perfectly rounded corners.

White Castle operates over 400 restaurants employing 10,000 plus Team Members. The bi-monthly Connects newsletter informs Team Members of happenings within the company system wide. The colorful design is brimming with photos and uplifting stories contributed by employees throughout
the company.

Connects is designed as an oversized eight-page tabloid. Printed on 100# silk text with satin aqueous coating, the newsletter has a substantial feel. Important details include consistency of the corporate masthead colors and alignment in finishing.
